About Daria Rybak
Biography
The Swiss soprano Daria Rybak is one of the rising stars of her generation. Since 2011, she has performed regularly in Switzerland (at the Vevey Theatre, Montreux Jazz Festival and Les Classiques de Villars festival,just to name a few) and abroad (Mozarteum Salzburg, National Theatre Rhodes, O2 Arena London).
Daria made her Italian debut on December 4, 2022, in a Verona Lirica concert at the Teatro Filarmonico diVerona, singing on stage with her mentor and voice teacher, the internationally renowned tenor Yusif Eyvazov.
On December 16, 2022, Daria made her debut as Musetta in Puccini’s La bohème at the Alisher Navoi StateAcademic Bolshoi Theatre in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, under the baton of Maestro Denis Vlasenko, followed byher appearance in the same role at the Teatro Filarmonico di Verona, on December 31, 2022. 2023 began forDaria with her debut as Violetta in La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi at the Alisher Navoi State AcademicBolshoi Theatre in Tashkent, alongside Yusif Eyvazov and the baritone Simone Piazzola. Daria has also been a guest performer at some of the most important concert halls worldwide, including TheGrand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory and the Konzerthaus in Vienna.
Among the recent highlights of Daria’s career are her summer 2023 debut at the Arena di Verona as theSacerdotessa in Verdi’s Aida, her participation in the Domingo Gala, her concert alongside Placido Domingoand Il Volo at the Reggia di Caserta as well as her participation in the Ravello Christmas festival in a concertwith Vittorio Grigolo conducted by Marco Boemi.
